In the 1970's  the Lord was moving in an awesome way giving people music to the scriptures.  Many times the songs were born in the midst of a gathering.  One would sing a line from a scripture and another would add a line;  soon a song was born.  I was present when many of these songs came into being.

During that time the Lord gave music to my husband Ron, our son Ronnie and myself. Ron, Ronnie, his twin brother Terry and our youngest son Mike played guitars and I was a drummer. A young man named Jimmy Anderson joined us with his guitar and The King James Gang was born. What an awesome way to learn scripture. We shared these Scripture songs with the Body of Christ. We received a prophecy that these songs would go round the world. As we were waiting for our world tour we had reports of these songs being sung in Europe, Australia and Canada.
We suddenly realized that since these were the Lord's songs He had taken them around the world and left us at home.

Our son, Ronnie, along with Ronnie's twin brother Terry, have gone on to be with the Lord.  Terry at the age of 24 in 1974  and Ronnie at the age of 28 in 1978.  In 1995 their Dad went to be with them.  I know there is a sound of rejoicing as they praise the Lord face to face with Jesus in the Kingdom. I wrote about their passing in an article called What is Faith and I wrote of their Dad's passing in an article called Am I Mature?

Recently there has been a renewed interest in the Scripture Songs.  I talked with my youngest son Mike about perhaps having the King James Gang ride again.  We talked with Jimmy Anderson and Ron McDuffy (a keyboard player that sat in with us from time to time) and decided that the Lord was indeed leading that way. So...
