Hi, My name is Jackie McCune-Merical
John and I live in Merritt Island, Florida
(that's where the Space Center is)
I had been married to my husband, Ron, for 45 years when
he passed away in 1995.
John was my high school sweetheart. That was a long time ago in Wellsville, Ohio.
I hadn't seen John since high school when we met again. We have been "together again" for 15 years.
I have been a born-again Christian for over 50 years. I'm experiencing new and exciting things in the Lord every day. What an awesome thing to be a part of the family of God.
During the 45 years I was married to Ron, most of that time was spent in music ministry. Music has always been a part of my life. I started dancing when I was four years old. Shirley Temple is 2 years older than I am so of course I did all of her routines. When Ron and I married and he turned out to be a musician and singer it was just automatic that we sort of merged our talents. He played the guitar and I accompanied on the conga drums.
I am still serving the Lord in whatever way He leads me.
Ron and I have 3 sons.
Ronnie and his twin brother Terry have gone on to be with the Lord;
Terry in 1974 when he was 24 and Ronnie in 1978 when he was 28.

My son Mike and his family live a few blocks from us here on Meritt Island.
I have 7 grandchildren - 7 great-grandchildren.
John has three children also. His daughter Crystal died of Cystic fibrosis when she was 3 years old. His son Steve died in September of 2005 also of Cystic Fibrosis. He was 42 years old. John's son Cy lives in Georgia.
He also has 2 step children, a daughter Debbie and a son Tim and he has,
altogether, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren
Of course we have an extended family of friends and relatives that are just like
the real thing.
We are truly blessed!
